Membership<\/b><\/h3>

1.1 How much does a membership cost?<\/b>
<\/span>Passive member 50.- \/ year<\/span>
<\/span>Active member 120.- \/ year<\/span>
<\/span>Active member reduced 80.- \/ year
<\/span>Payable from the beginning of the new calendar year with the exception of the year in which membership commenced.<\/p>

1.2 What is financed by my membership fee?<\/b>
<\/b>Above all, the costs of regular Zoukevents. This includes room rental, DJs and ancillary costs, as well as storage rental for the club’s equipment. <\/span>
<\/span>The association also supports projects in smaller dance communities that may not be profitable. It also provides technical infrastructure such as website hosting or payment devices. Surplus capital is invested in the community in the longer term, whereby in addition to investments, membership fees can also be reduced or discounts increased. <\/span><\/p>

1.3 How do I become a member?<\/b>
<\/b>Fill out the form on our website.<\/span>
<\/span>After your membership has been confirmed by the board, you will receive further information about the association and how to pay the membership fee by e-mail.<\/span><\/p>

1.4 What are the rights and obligations of membership?<\/b>
<\/b>Please read the membership regulations on our website.<\/span><\/p>

1.5 How long is a membership valid for?<\/b>
<\/span>Membership is valid for one calendar year and can be terminated seamlessly without a letter of resignation. <\/span>extended. Membership can be terminated at the end of each year. The letter of resignation must be sent to the Board of Directors in writing by at least November 30 of the current year. <\/span><\/p>

Events<\/b><\/h3>

2.1 What events does the association organize?<\/b>
<\/b>So far, the association has organized the following regular events:<\/span>
<\/span>ZoukPrime<\/b>, every 3rd Saturday of the month, open to the public<\/span>
<\/span>Zoukfloor at the Fiesta Bachata<\/b>every 4th Friday of the month, open to the public<\/span>
<\/span>Zunday Zouk Zocial<\/b>, on individual Sundays (usually the first Sunday of the month) through the winter<\/span>
<\/span>City Zouk<\/strong>, new format for outdoor socials in summer<\/span><\/p>

The association organizes community events such as ZoukHike<\/strong> (hiking day in the mountains) or ZoukMountain<\/strong> (Zouk & hiking weekend).

<\/span>Larger events such as <\/span>weekenders<\/b>are also planned :<\/span>
<\/span>Their dates and names are not yet known, 1-2x per year<\/span><\/p>

2.2 Does the association support me with my own event ideas?<\/b>
<\/b>Yes, absolutely, true to the motto – from the community for the community! Present your idea to us, the association’s event management team. We will be happy to support and advise you. As a member, you can also make use of the association’s infrastructure, material and know-how. <\/span><\/p>

2.3 How can I create my own event on the website?<\/b>
<\/b>Apply for a profile with us so that you can enter events yourself. Please send us an email to events@brazilian-zouk.ch.<\/a> You will then receive brief instructions on how to enter the event. <\/p>

2.4 Do I have discounts on the association’s events as a member?<\/b>
<\/b>In part:<\/span>
<\/span>– You will receive a discount on admission to ZoukPrime. For the time being 5.- reduction. <\/span>
<\/span>– No discount is possible for the Fiesta Bachata, as we only host the Zoukfloor.<\/span>
<\/span>– You get free entry to the Zunday Zouk Zocial. That’s a discount of 8. <\/span>
<\/span>– Events such as ZoukHike are organized at the participants’ own expense.<\/span>
<\/span>– Events such as ZoukMountain or other weekenders will include a discount for members, the amount of which will be determined by the Events Committee depending on the budget.<\/span><\/p>

Donation<\/b><\/h3>

3.1 How can I donate to the association?<\/b>
<\/b>At events you will find our Twint QR code<\/span>es for scanning. <\/span>This payment is made without personal data and the association cannot trace who has donated. <\/span>After deducting the 1.3% fee, the entire amount is credited to the association’s account.<\/span>

Ombudsman’s office<\/b>

4.1 I have a problem or would like to report an incident, how can I do this?<\/b>
