On Sunday, August 9 (alternate date: August 16), we’ll take the beautiful Riviera-Walensee hike from Quinten to Weesen—with stunning views of Lake Walensee, beautiful waterfalls, and a Mediterranean vibe. 🌊🏔️
📍 Route: Quinten → Weesen
approx. 10 km, 450 m elevation gain, approx. 3.5 hours
🚂 Departure: 8:12 a.m. from Zurich Central Station to Unterterzen
⛴️ Then take the boat to Quinten, where our hike begins.
💦 In Betlis, you can take a dip in the water. There’s also a fire pit there for making snake bread and other treats.
🦦 After a leisurely time by the lake, we’ll continue on to Weesen, where we’ll take public transportation back.
🎒What to bring: Hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, a bikini or swimsuit, food, drinks, and don’t forget to bring your good mood. 😉🙌
